What FENSA certificates mean when you sell
Buyers’ solicitors often ask for proof that replacement glazing complied with Building Regulations. A certificate keeps that conversation short.
Keep your FENSA paperwork with the rest of the property file. If you inherit a home with missing certificates, older work can sometimes be regularised, but it is easier not to need that route.
Using a registered installer at the time of fitting is the clean approach.
