Five signs your windows are ready for replacement
Draughts, condensation and sticky handles are more than annoyances — they are often early warnings that a window set has reached the end of its useful life.
Across Stockton-on-Tees we still see plenty of frames fitted in the 1990s and early 2000s. Many have done a solid job, but materials and seals do not last forever.
Look out for persistent draughts around opening sashes, misting between sealed units, handles that need a hard shove, and frames that flex or crack at the corners. Rising heating bills with no other explanation are another useful clue.
A free survey from our team can confirm whether a repair will do, or whether a full FENSA-approved replacement will make the home warmer and quieter. Call 01642 614440 if you would like us to take a look.
