How to prepare for a window fitting day
A little preparation the day before helps the install run smoothly and keeps your rooms usable as quickly as possible.
Clear the area around each opening — furniture pulled back, curtains taken down, ornaments and plants moved. Outside, make sure pathways are free so boards, frames and glass can be carried safely.
We protect floors and work tidy as we go, but access still matters. Pets should be kept away from the work area, and it helps if someone is home for decisions on handles, vents and final positioning.
Most replacement windows are fitted room by room. You will not be left with open holes overnight. If you have questions before the day, call 01642 614440 and we will walk you through the plan.
