Fire escape windows: what homeowners should know
Certain rooms need openings that can serve as escape routes. Hardware and clear opening sizes are not optional extras.
We specify suitable hinges and restrictors that still allow a proper escape opening where regulations require it.
If you are unsure whether a bedroom window currently complies, ask during the survey. It is better solved on paper before manufacturing.
