Cleaning new windows the right way
Harsh chemicals and abrasive pads shorten the life of frames and glass coatings. A gentler routine is enough.
Warm water with a mild detergent, soft cloths and a microfibre finish keep uPVC and aluminium looking new. Avoid solvent cleaners on seals.
Label residue from installation should come off with care — if anything stubborn remains after handover, tell us rather than scraping.
A twice-yearly clean of frames and trickle vents is better than an annual deep scrub with the wrong products.
