Bay windows: repair, replace or refresh?
Bays define many local street scenes. They need careful measuring and a plan for the roof and cheeks as well as the glass.
Sometimes sealed units and sashes can be renewed within a sound structure. On other houses the bay roof, leadwork or timber cheeks are the real problem.
A full replacement lets us improve insulation and update the look while keeping the proportions that suit the house.
